Kudelski Security and F5 invite you to attend a technical training where you’ll gain hands-on experience with a live AWS lab. We’ll take a closer look at how NGINX solutions deliver speed, security and scale to the modern application environment of containers, microservices and an API first approach. Stick around for some bocce and bowling after the workshop!
Workshop
Attendees will install NGINX Plus on an AWS VM and complete an example configuration:
• Installation of NGINX Plus
• Configuration of NGINX Controller
• Configuration of NGINX Plus as an L4 load balancer
• Configuration of NGINX Controller to monitor and alert on specific events (slow responses)
• Configuration of NGINX Controller to configure TLS certificates
• Configuration of NGINX Controller as an API Manager (L7 reverse proxy)
• Understand security techniques – JWT Authorization, rate limiting, etc.
NOTE: you will need to bring a laptop with an SSH/putty client if you would like to participate in the hands on workshop.
